Virtual Exhibition

Article 1 Definition of Terms
  • 1. “Exhibitor” refers to individuals, corporations and government agencies who have submitted an application for participation in this exhibition.
  • 2. “Exhibition” refers to the virtual exhibition booth of the 8th International Electric Vehicle Expo (hereinafter referred to as The 8thIEVE VE).
  • 3. “Organizer” refers to the International Electric Vehicle Expo (hereinafter referred to as IEVE).
Article 2 Application for participation
  • 1. Those who wish to apply for exhibition participation must fill out an application for use of the International Electric Vehicle Expo virtual exhibition and submit it to the organizer. However, if the virtual exhibition booth production period has expired or if it is determined that the items to be exhibited are not suitable for the exhibition, the organizer may reject the application for participation.
  • 2. The exhibitor submits an application for participation and pays the participation fee in Article 5, so it is deemed to have mutually agreed and agreed on the rules for participation in this exhibition.
Article 3 Virtual Booth Location Allocation
  • 1. The organizer will allocate the exhibition location for each exhibitor according to the order of receipt of applications, the type of virtual booth, the nature of the exhibits, and other reasonable methods.
  • 2. The organizer may change the location of the virtual booth assigned to the exhibitor at any time under special circumstances. Such changes are at the discretion of the organizer, and the exhibitor cannot claim compensation for the results of such changes.
Article 4 Submission of exhibition-related information
  • 1. The exhibitor must provide relevant information to the organizer according to the virtual booth type, and if it is not submitted within the deadline, the exhibitor cannot claim compensation.
  • 2. Exhibitors cannot request modifications after virtual booth development. However, if the information is entered incorrectly due to the organizer's error, the information provided by the exhibitor will be corrected again.
  • 3. The organizer does not provide the information received from the exhibitor to a third party.
  • 4. Exhibitors cannot transfer all or part of the assigned virtual booth to another person without the written consent of the organizer.
Article 5 Payment terms
  • The exhibitor must pay the down payment equivalent to 50% of the participation fee to the organizer when submitting the application form, and the remaining 50% must be paid within 14 days after submitting the application.
Article 6 Cancellation of contract
  • If the exhibitor gives up or refuses to use the agreed virtual booth without the organizer's approval, the organizer may cancel the exhibitor's application for participation. In this case, the organizer will not return the already paid participation fee to the exhibitor.
  • However, under the approval of the organizer, if the exhibitor cancels participation within 7 days of submitting the application, 50% will be refunded. If the exhibitor fails to fulfill the payment conditions in Article 5, the organizer will not start the development of the virtual booth.
Article 7 Cancellation or Change of Exhibition
  • If the organizer cancels the exhibition, the entire participation fee already paid will be returned to the exhibitor. However, if the exhibition is canceled or the date/location is changed or reduced due to force majeure or other special circumstances not attributable to the organizer, it will not be returned. In this case, the exhibitor cannot claim compensation from the organizer.
Article 8 Supplementary Provisions
  • 1. If necessary, the organizer may establish supplementary rules not specified in these rules for participation.
  • 2. Supplementary regulations become part of these rules for participation and the exhibitor must comply with them.
Article 9 Dispute Settlement
  • In the event of a dispute between the organizer and the exhibitor in relation to the agreement to participate in this exhibition, the two parties shall make every effort to resolve the dispute amicably. Disputes not resolved amicably shall be resolved by arbitration by the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board. The arbitral verdict in this Dispute shall be final and binding on both parties.

Purpose of collection and use of personal information
  • User's personal information is collected and used for the following purposes. Establishment and performance of contracts for service provision (identification of the user and confirmation of his/her intentions, etc.), information on other new services and exhibitions and events (provided) ), member management (handling civil complaints, delivering notices, etc.)
  • On the International Electric Vehicle Expo website, the following personal information items are provided by members as mandatory inputs on the membership registration screen.
  • In addition, in order to provide convenient and diverse services to members, the International Electric Vehicle Expo(IEVE) may use personal information collected from members to conduct advertising or marketing activities through various service e-mails and SMS (cell phone text messages) There is.
    In this case, the member can reject unwanted services at any time through the ‘Change Personal Information’ menu on the website.
Personal information collection items
  • The personal information collected by the company should be kept to the minimum required to provide the service, but if additional information is required, it may be requested.
  • On the International Electric Vehicle Expo website, the following personal information items are provided by members as mandatory inputs on the membership registration screen.
  • Except for the mandatory input items listed below, members' personal information is classified as optional input items.

  • The International Electric Vehicle Expo (IEVE) does not collect the following information that may significantly infringe users' basic human rights. Sensitive personal information (race and ethnicity, ideology, place of birth and domicile, political orientation, crime records, health status, sex life, etc.)
Period of retention and use of personal information
  • The International Electric Vehicle Expo (IEVE) destroys personal information without delay in the event of membership withdrawal or termination using a non-renewable technical method.
    However, the International Electric Vehicle Expo (IEVE) may retain personal information with the consent of the termination party for business needs such as marketing. Even if there is a need to preserve in accordance with the provisions of other related laws, member information is kept for a certain period set by the related laws as follows.

    - Records on consumer complaints or dispute handling: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
